25 May MMBC and Deloitte | Corporate Governance and Risk Management Challenges In Myanmar and Practical Steps For Navigating Through Covid-19
MMBC is hosting its first webinar workshop together with Mr. Aaron Jay Dason, Deloitte Myanmar on the topic of corporate governance and risk management challenges that are particularly relevant for navigating the pre and post Covid-19 pandemic. In this workshop, MMBC members will be provided with good insights with practical steps and considerations about overall improvements for governance, risk management and modifications to their internal processes arising from Covid-19 with specific considerations to the local business environment. The webinar workshop will be held on 28th May 2020 (Thursday) @ 3 pm to 4.30 pm Myanmar time. We are delighted to welcome Mr. Aaron Jay Dason to share his knowledge and experiences with all MMBC members and his speaker profile is attached below;
Speaker Profile
Mr. Aaron Jay Dason currently leads Corporate Governance, Risk Management, and Internal Audit services for Deloitte Risk Advisory in Myanmar. He is from Malaysia and altogether has 7 years of experience in the Risk Advisory field with global professional service firms. Aaron has been the lead contact for multiple outsourced Internal Audit client relationships. He has performed post-strategy implementation effectiveness audits, advised on the establishment of enterprise risk management systems and frameworks, advised listed companies on their sustainability reporting disclosures, performed board governance assessments, conducted Internal Audit department restructuring exercises, performed investigative audits, and has held multiple workshops for instilling developing, and inspiring people, and is a logical outside-the-box thinker adept at designing solutions through critically analyzing business models, strategies, governance and structures, corporate culture, business processes, internal controls, and enterprise risk environments using internationally acclaimed frameworks & standards. In addition to Myanmar, Aaron has overseen projects across Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
