31 May VISITS BY AMBASSADOR OF MALAYSIA TO VARIOUS MYANMAR ASSOCIATIONS

Malaysian Business Chamber (MBC) President, Mr Gilbert Lee accompanied our Ambassador of Malaysia to the various Myanmar Associations to promote the upcoming Connect Myanmar 2019 Investment Seminar to be organized by MBC at the end of August 2019.   

The visit to Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers and Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and Myanmar Industry Association (MIA) was held on 7^th May 2019.  Dr Maung Maung Lay (Vice President of UMFCCI), Dr. Aung Thein (Joint Secretary General of UMFCCI/ President of MIA) and U Aye Tun (Vice chairman of MIA) were briefed about the proposed Investment Seminar.  Both Embassy of Malaysian and MBC sought the support of UMFCCI and MIA for its members to participate in the event.

On 8^th May 2019, H.E Ambassador of Malaysia and President of MBC met with U Min Ye Zayar Hlaing, President of Myanmar Computer Federation (MCF), U Aung Kyaw Moe, Vice President of MCF and Ma Chaw Khin Khin, Joint Secretary of MCF to share and promote Connect Myanmar 2019.

Later, both of them visited Myanmar Developer Association (MDA) and met with U Maung Weik, President of MDA and other executive committee members of MDA to discuss about promotion of Myanmar construction sector during the Connect Myanmar 2019 seminar.
